Tall Tales

The exhibition Tall Tales presents artistic positions that interrogate the truth-value of photography, granting central significance to the use of light as an identity-forming element in the constitution of reality.

The works of the participating artists address the transformation of pictorial reality through the photographic dispositif, whereby what exists is perceived through the camera apparatus, yet through the technicality of the device undergoes a process of re-appropriation.
