In his film and video installations, Patrick Topitschnig poses questions about the visuality of the diegetic space, which he almost exclusively presents in fragmented form. He combines this space, among others, to the Leibinz’scher Resonanzraum, by giving the voice and tone a weight, which imitates the conditions of real space. These methodologies can be projected on or reduced to the sculptural concepts, on which the artist models his work.
